Groundhog birthday
I woke up on Friday and Paul wished me a happy birthday. We drove to Auckland and boarded our evening flight to London. Ten hours later I woke up somewhere between Brisbane and Singapore and Paul wished me a happy birthday again. Another many hours later I woke up somewhere between Singapore and Dubai and Paul wished me a happy birthday again. Best value birthday I've ever had. Does that make me 3 years older???
The picture is one of my many wonderful birthday meals complete with plastic cutlery and crockery.

Birth Notice
The message came through from London this morning at 9am to say "we have a lovely little girl after 2.5 hours labour. She is a pocket rocket!"
Great timing because we leave tomorrow.
Photos to follow soon.

Dublin research
We are only in Dublin for half a day when we arrive in Ireland but will try to track down and photograph some of these local landmarks.
"The statue in Dublin's O'Connell Street is commonly known as the 'Floozy in the Jacuzzi' while the one at the bottom of Grafton Street is best known as the 'Tart with the Cart'. The women at the Ha'Penny bridge are the"Hags with the bags", James Joyce's statue is called the "Dick with the stick" and the Chimney Stack with the new lift in Smithfield Village is now called the "Flue with the View". As for the Spike Monument in O'Connell Street ( Which nobody wants and is a big waste of money ! ), the commonly known name for that is not printable !"
Found it here with lots of other interesting facts. http://factual.eatmyjoke.com/l-facts-about-dublin.html
Couldn't resist looking to see what the "Floozy in the Jacuzzi" was going to look like. This is what I got on Google image search.
